UK is Failing Whales and Dolphins

A new report by The Wildlife Trusts finds that existing UK laws are failing to adequately protect whales and dolphins. Despite legal safeguards, cetaceans remain at risk from bycatch, noise pollution and habitat disturbance. The report calls for stronger enforcement, clearer protections and more effective monitoring to ensure these species are properly safeguarded in UK waters.
