ECOP Wednesdays: Unravelling Marine Food Webs: From Trophic Ecology to Ecosystem – Based Management – 06 May 2026, Online

In this edition of the ECOP Wednesdays event series, hosted by the EMB Young Ambassadors and the EMB Secretariat for the EMB ECOP network, Sara Mohamed, a marine scientist at the Málaga centre of the Instituto Español de Oceanografía (IEO-CSIC), Spain, will speak about “Unravelling Marine Food Webs: From Trophic Ecology to Ecosystem-Based Management“.

This webinar will explore how marine food webs are studied to better understand ecosystem functioning, with a focus on trophic ecology approaches such as stable isotope analysis and trophic indicators.
