As part of the Blue Bioeconomy in the Atlantic Area: New Products from Marine Organisms (BEAP-MAR) project, we are organizing an event that will bring together experts from different sectors of the blue bioeconomy. The event will take place on January 10, 2025, between 10:15 am and 12:15 pm (Portuguese time) and will be in a hybrid format (Gambelas Campus and on-line).
As we believe this is an event of great interest to the CCMAR community, we would like to invite you to participate. We will be honored to have the following keynote speakers with us:
- Pedro Valadas Monteiro, CCDR Algarve – The role of public support policies in leveraging initiatives originated by R&D.
- Luis Botana, University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) – Potential therapeutic approaches of marine anti-inflammatory compounds.
- Hugo Pereira, Associação Oceano Verde – GreenCoLab: Building Bridges Between Academia and Industry in Algal Biotechnology.
- LuÃs Conceição, SPAROS Lda. – Use of algal products in aquafeeds: an industry perspective.
- Aschwin Hillebrand Engelen, CCMAR –Â Bioprospective potential of holobionts of marine forests.Â
