The 2nd edition of The African Youth Forum on the Blue Economy (FOJAEB) will take place from 17 to 19 April 2025 in the city of Toliara in Madagascar.
The objective of the FOJAEB is to raise awareness among African youth on the continent’s potential in the blue economy, the different sea and coastal professions in order to increase investments for sustainable blue growth, to bring out a strong motivation among young people towards the blue economy in order to reduce despair, brain drain, illegal immigration by promoting the creation of added value and decent jobs for the development of African youth and the renaissance of Africa.
The 2nd edition of the FOJAEB, which aims to bring together more than 500 national, African and international participants, is a unique event that will mobilize the youth of the 55 countries of Africa, and to which Heads of State and Government of African countries, heads of international, regional and sub-regional institutions, the private sector of the blue economy, experts, academics and all stakeholders will be invited.
