The TREVOR-SAFARI Symposium 2026 is pleased to announce a free online training series bringing together expert lecturers and panellists from around the world to explore the observation of marine ecosystems across biological scales — from microbial communities to fisheries and human health.
The series consists of 13 weekly 2-hour webinars, running every Tuesday from 7 July to 29 September 2026, via Microsoft Teams. Each session comprises a 1-hour lecture followed by a 1-hour Q&A with the speaker(s)
Most sessions will be held from 11:00 to 13:00 UTC (check your local time), with the exception of the fisheries and aquaculture session, which will run from 13:00 to 15:00 UTC (check your local time).
All are welcome to join. We particularly encourage early career ocean professionals interested in ocean observation topics to attend.
