On Thursday 15 January 2026, EMB will host its next Third Thursday Science Webinar featuring Gabriela Arguello who will present on the topic of “Risks and long-term liabilities of subseabed carbon sequestration“.
Dr. Gabriela Argüello is an Associate Senior Lecturer in Environmental Law and a Research Fellow funded by the Royal Swedish Academy of Letters, History and Antiquities. She works on the law of the sea and marine governance, with a focus on how countries, industries, and communities shape the future of our oceans.
