Castlerock Conservation in collaboration with OCTO will be offering the following training sessions on behavior change for conservation:
Extended Introduction to Behavior ChangeÂ
December 2 and 4: 2 – 5 pm GMT (9 am – Noon US EST) both days
In this workshop, practitioners will be introduced to the key tools, approaches, and frameworks by which they can begin to incorporate behavior change into their work. We will go through a number of guided exercises to help you see the benefits that a behavior change approach can bring and how it might apply to your conservation project. We will then explore the selection of appropriate tools and how to use them, with applied sessions to give you a working knowledge of key methodologies. Through discussions, applied scenarios, and skills sessions, participants can expect to leave the workshop with a basic but solid understanding of conservation behavior change and how to incorporate it into applied conservation scenarios. NOTE: This is a two-part workshop. The first session is on the 2nd of December, and the second session is on the 4th of December. Both will run from 1400 – 1700 GMT. Your booking includes both sessions.
