NANO members volunteer for the TPSF Mentorship Programme

Professor Trevor Platt and Dr Shubha Sathyendranath are dear patrons of our alumni network and highly estimated mentors for most of our members.

It is no surprise that several NANO members joined the Trevor Platt Science Foundation and share the organisation principles.

Mentorship programme

The TPS Foundation has launched a mentorship programme, aimed primarily at early career scientists and post graduate students in marine and aquatic sciences.

In this programme, TPSF members volunteer to provide 6-month online mentorship to students, regarding professional and scientific problems they are facing.

Among the mentors of this first round of the programme, seven NANO members volunteered to share their experience with the young generation of scientists.

Applications are open until 31 March 2022 and the programme starts in May 2022.

Visit the TPSF mentorship programme page for more information.
