IMBeR, (www.imber@info) invites nominations for new members of its Scientific Steering Committee (SSC) for a term beginning on 1 January 2022.

Please send nominations to the IMBeR International Project Office-Canada (imber@dal.ca) by Monday 9 November 2021.

SSC members serve for a period of three years, with the potential of renewing for an additional 3-year term.

IMBeR are seeking nominations from individuals with the expertise to address aspects of the IMBeR Science Plan and the nine potential future science objectives, in particular with experience in one of the following:

  • Incorporating science-policy-society interactions into global, regional and local models towards sustainable ocean governance
  • Modelling the impacts of future change in oceanic systems across multiple spatial scales to inform decision making.
