On the Green Track is a European Union campaign on biodiversity and nature for young people, organized in collaboration with the Global Biodiversity Youth Network (GYBN). It will be implemented in spring 2022, ahead of the second phase of the UN Biodiversity Conference CBD COP15 and during the European Year of Youth.

To amplify the voices of young people, a call for events named Green Track Stops has been launched. It invites young people – students, scientists, junior professionals, artists – and youth organizations across the EU to become part of the journey and contribute to the debate on the future of our planet and biodiversity in a meaningful way.

The call for events (in any format) aims to ensure a variety of topics are represented, related to environment and in particular biodiversity and nature protection. The selected events will be organized between March and May 2022, ahead of the COP15 Conference, and their ideas and inspirational actions will be taken on board during the closing campaign event.
