The Marine Mammal Twinning, under the framework of the EU-funded Ocean Governance project, has created the Marine Mammals Management Toolkit Community of Practice. Complementing and strengthening the other three components of the toolkit (factsheets, self-assessment tool, good practices), the Community of Practice brings together MPA managers, practitioners and wider marine users who are working with marine mammals and MPAs. Designed to promote knowledge and resource sharing, stewardship, and capacity building, the Community of Practice is animated through the Community of Practice Mailing Group, where members can communicate either through direct or global messages to all Community of Practice members.
