Many young people want to engage in science-policy-society interfaces, to contribute their vision for the future and bring about societal change. However, finding pathways to do so is not easy, as there are many existing interfaces and no clearly written rules to engage in these spaces.
In this edition of the ECOP Wednesdays event series, hosted by the EMB Young Ambassadors and the EMB Secretariat for the EMB ECOP network, Marie Morgane shared her experiences, engaging as a young and early-career marine researcher, mostly through the Global Youth Biodiversity Network, who represents young people in the United Convention on Biological Diversity.
