The Commission has recently published a document on funding opportunities for the environment under the 2021-2027 Multi-annual Financial Framework (MFF) and NextGenerationEU. This guide provides a detailed description of those 2021–2027 MFF funding programmes and instruments that could support projects that directly or indirectly contribute to the EU’s environmental policies and objectives.
The aim of this guide is twofold: to increase awareness and to empower potential project promoters by providing them with knowledge and insights to facilitate applications for EUÂ funding or financing for the environment. The guide should better equip project promoters to identify the appropriate funding and technical assistance programme, to better understand the potential eligibility of a project and to find further guidance.
