Training Course and Symposium: Sea & Coasts: Dynamics, biodiversity, management, their link with society and geo-spatial tools for their study

The main objective of this activity is to deepen the knowledge of coastal and marine environments through the integration of multiple approaches (physical, biological, climate, politics, etc) using geo-spatial tools, with  emphasis in Latin American coastal zones.

The activity is scheduled in a Symposium followed by a theoretical and practical post-graduate training course focused in remote sensing techniques for ocean color studies.

It is mainly directed towards young researchers and professionals from Latin American regions, for which 30 complete fellowships are available.
