The new Helmholtz Institute for Functional Marine Biodiversity is the result of collaboration between Alfred Wegener Institute and University of Oldenburg, in hopes to further enhance their collaboration capabilities. The Helmholtz-Institute for Functional Marine Biodiversity (HIFMB) is a new institute integrating marine biodiversity research, established on the campus of the Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg. During the establishment phase of this new body, there are ten research positions available.
