Presentations given on the first day of the workshop (Tuesday, November 15) will address undergraduate oceanographic education, regional applications, and high school teacher usage of Giovanni.

On the second day of the workshop (Wednesday, November 16), the focus shifts to atmospheric science, precipitation, and hydrology.

On Thursday, November 17, the current status and future plans for Giovanni will be described, followed by a presentation on the update and revamp of the popular NASA Earth Observations (NEO) tool, and potential parallel usage of NEO and Giovanni. The Town Hall on the afternoon of the final day will be a discussion of what geoscience educators would add to Giovanni to make it an even more useful educational resource.

The full schedule is given below.  Registration is recommended even if it is not possible to attend the live online presentations, as all registrants will be notified when the recorded presentations are available online.

Abstracts for each presentation are available in the October 2016 issue of The Giovanni News, <http://disc.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/gesNews/giovanni_news_october_2016_online >
