EMBRC‐France is launching its 4th funding call for projects in marine biology with a focus on the development or utilization of marine model organisms, and the use of biological resources already available. Projects requiring access to in situ populations of marine organisms and marine ecosystems to tackle questions in the areas of biodiversity, biological oceanography, ecology and evolutionary biology are also welcome. Applications may be submitted by researchers, engineers, post‐doctoral or PhD student working in a research laboratory or a platform. While a French partner must be present, the call is also open to non-French organisations.
