Call for review articles on Corals and Climate Change
I have agreed to serve as a Section Editor for the review journal Current Climate Change Reports published by Springer. The journal is a quarterly publication of Springer that was started in 2015. It is unique in that is provides short, focused reviews on a variety of areas of broad interest in climate change research. I am looking for authors interested in sharing their expertise for a collection of articles on the general topic of Corals and Climate Change. The section will consist of commissioned reviews of the recent literature- approximately 2000-4000 words each ? with an annotated reference list accompanying each review. The target for the collection is 6-9 articles for the last issue of the year. Articles would be due on June 26th. My job as Section Editor is to compile a list of 5-7 topics between now and Apr 17 that fall under the Corals and Climate Change umbrella, with 2 or 3 potential authors for each topic. The editors will consider the topics and proposed
authors and commission 5-7 review articles to appear in the December 2017 issue. This collection would continue in succeeding years as long as interest remains strong. Examples of long running collections include: Climate Change and Human Health, Ecological Impacts of Climate Change, Advances in Modelling. If you want to suggest a review topic and potential author(s) please contact me by Apr 17.
