CEFAS Higher Executive Officer – Environmental Economist, closes 19 June 2016 Lowestoft, England
The purpose of this job is to contribute to the provision of advice and science related to the economics of the marine environment. The core team of Cefas economists is looking for a motivated environmental economist with an enthusiasm for the marine environment that will support them in the delivery of economic analysis related to the natural resources provided by the marine environment whilst developing their own skills and expertise.
The post-holder will draw on existing activities in Cefas which make use of the results of economic analysis and valuation of economic services in UK shelf seas, and will develop the integration of social science and economic considerations into the advisory process to support our government customers.
