Applicants from all over the world are invited to take part in the Co–ReSyF Competitive Call for Ideas to develop innovative research applications in the field of coastal water monitoring. Proposals are particularly welcome covering estuaries and river mouth systems, disaster risk reduction (Sendai, Japan 2015; http://www.wcdrr.org/) and aspects of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (http://www.un.org/sustainable development/sustainable-develo pment-goals/).

Winners will be invited to attend the Co–ReSyF Summer School, Lisbon, 12-14th July 2017, where they will receive training and expert support to use the Co–ReSyF platform to access EO datasets, tools and other platform functionalities in order to carry out the proposed research activities. Support on the platform usage will be maintained until the end of the Co–ReSyF project (end of 2018). Top ranking winners will be fully funded (EU rates) to attend the Summer School.
