Luxury 5 star resort in the south male atoll – Maldives is currently seeking a female candidate for a 6 months MARINE BIOLOGIST internship.
Location: COMO Cocoa Island, Maldives
Job description:
– Coral conservation via propagation on coral frames and farming on lines
– Marine science projects and surveys
– Assist the resident marine biologists with guest enquiries, guiding on excursions, including snorkel trips, dolphin cruises and delivering presentations about marine topics to expand guests knowledge & interest to protect and environmental awareness.
– Assist in the daily operation of the Marine Sport Centre as Part of the team.
We’re currently looking for undergrads, or fresh grads keen on a career as a Marine Biologist. The position would be supervised by the resident Marine biologist, and the candidate would be part of the Marine Sports team, and will thus have an opportunity to dive or also learn how to dive.
This is a PAID internship.
Food, accommodation and work permit will be provided.
Should speak and write fluent English and at least 1 other language.
