MarineSpace Ltd is an environmental consultancy that specialises in providing expert guidance to marine industries.  As part of the company’s continued expansion we are currently seeking to employ a graduate marine ecologist to join our experienced team.

MarineSpace provides services to the marine aggregate, marine renewables, oil and gas, coastal/marine engineering and ports/harbours sectors.  The successful candidate will be required to provide input to a range of projects within these sectors.

MarineSpace is a small but rapidly developing company and we are seeking a dynamic and hard-working individual to complement and enhance our team.  Principally based in our Peterborough office, you will be required to travel to meetings at our Head Office in Southampton and also attend client meetings as required.  Authoring of technical reports and environmental impact assessments will form the core of your responsibilities but you will also be required to perform general project management tasks and stakeholder engagement when required.

If you hold an BSc in a relevant subject and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we would like to hear from you.  Practical knowledge of specific marine industry sectors, as described above, would be a distinct advantage.  An understanding of UK marine benthic biodiversity, technical scientific reports, and univariate and multivariate statistical analysis would be beneficial.

Terms of employment will be commensurate with the skills and experience of the successful candidate.

Further details are available here.

If you would like to be considered for the role, please send a CV and brief covering letter to info@marinespace.co.uk.  The closing date for submission of applications is 09:00 06 November 2017.
