The european project PADDLE (Planning in a tropical Stakes) and the french cluster of Excellence LABEX and IS Blue are organising a summer school next septembre in Brest.
It aims at providing early researchers a comprehensive toolbox on Marine Spatial Planning. General lectures will be given by international experts in the field of MSP and disciplines offering tools for informed decision-making (e.g. GIS, accoustic, population modelling). Lessons learnt will be immediately tested in action, through the MSP Challenge.
Application is compulsory on the event’s website before May 15th. Successful applicants will be notified by May 25th.
