The CSIRO is seeking a highly motivated and experienced phycologist with a strong national and/or international standing for the position of Research Scientist in the Australian National Algae Culture Collection. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-career research scientist with demonstrated expertise in microalgae population genetics and/or molecular ecophysiology. The successful candidate will work closely with the ANACC Director and have a lead role in increasing the national, regional and international profile of ANACC using deep microalgal knowledge to lead innovative research across a breadth of topics such as biodiversity, ecology and bioapplications.
