CNR-ISMAR in Rome is looking for a Post Doctoral Fellow to work on satellite data validation and calibration activities, satellite data processing and analysis, ocean color remote sensing, and algorithm development within the framework of the H2020-funded HYPERNETS and DOORS projects and the Copernicus CMEMS Ocean Color Thematic Assembly Centre.
Qualifications & experience:
- PhD (minimum three years long) focused on satellite oceanography, Earth observation or optical oceanography, documented by scientific publications
- Experience in: processing and/or analysis of satellite data, satellite data validation/calibration, marine bio-optics, ocean color remote sensing, ocean color algorithm development
Contract details
12 months, renewable. 22.000,00 Euro per year, pre tax pay.
