Solution Search has launched a new contest. Solution Search: Changing Unsustainable Trade is on a mission to surface, spotlight, and accelerate successful solutions that address the illegal and unsustainable wildlife trade by changing people’s behaviors. Winners receive $20,000, high-impact exposure and cutting-edge training in behavioral science. Entries are now open.

The illegal and unsustainable wildlife trade threatens worldwide biodiversity and environmental stability. From 2010-2018, officials in several Amazonian and Andean countries recorded more than 60,000 illegal activities involving 914 species and 300,000 animals. That’s why this international contest is scouring South American and Caribbean nations for proven solutions that curb illegal wildlife trafficking by shifting people’s behaviors. Winners will receive funding and the opportunity to connect with global leaders addressing this pressing issue. Visit solutionsearch.org to enter and learn more.
