Job Title: Fisheries Protection Officer

Falkland Islands Government Grade: D2 Starting Salary £31,577 per annum

The Opportunity:

As a key member of the Fisheries Protection Service team you will ensure the implementation of and compliance with relevant fisheries and maritime regulations, policies and laws, including harbour control duties.  Essential criteria for the role include a BSc in a relevant subject such as, Marine Science, Oceanography or Fisheries Management, etc. or Marine Certificate of Competency of Skipper (Full) Fishing Certificate.  A Fisheries Officer Training Certificate would be desirable.  Applicants must be sufficiently fit and capable of passing an ENG1 Medical check.

Contract Type: This is a permanent post on standard FIG terms and conditions
