Duties and Responsibilities

The post holder will work closely with the Head of Research Liaison to support the day to day running of the Office for Open Science & Scholarship and develop the service to maintain the growth and development of Citizen Science in the university.

The post holder will be required to provide support for Citizen Science while working with the OOSS, liaising directly with academic colleagues in the preparation of funding proposals and the support of successful projects as well as developing services to support Citizen Science (CS) activities in the UCL community, contributing to the work of the CS Working Group, making presentations to departments, committees, and other stakeholder groups as required.

This role may in part be suitable for remote working. The role holder will be expected to work a minimum of 40% of their time on campus. The pattern of on-campus and remote working will be agreed with the role holder.

Key Requirements

The role holder will need to have a working knowledge of Open Science and an understanding of how Citizen Science fits within this landscape. They will also need a good understanding of citizen science practices and methodologies in order to support our academic community.
