Sentinel North scholarships and postdoctoral fellowships encourage the best candidates to begin or pursue transdisciplinary research activities within projects related to Sentinel North’s research program.

Candidates who stand out for the excellence of their academic record and the innovative and multidisciplinary potential of their research projects are invited to submit their application.

Through its training program, Sentinel North seeks to develop leaders in their field who are equipped to understand the changing North. Students benefit from a dynamic research ecosystem, coaching from internationally renowned experts, and access to state-of-the-art research facilities. They become part of a unique learning community, driven by a rich program of experiential and transdisciplinary training, workshops aimed at developing emerging skills, and multiple networking events.

Complementary opportunities

As part of the CREATE Smart, Autonomous and Adaptive Sensing grant, graduate scholarships will also be awarded for projects that focus on developing and deploying innovative tools at the frontier between optics, environment, and health.
