Is the Arctic your passion? Do you have a broad marine observational background? We might have the right position for you!

We need an enthusiastic and well-structured science advisor in the EU project Arctic PASSION. We are given the task to coordinate an international effort to enhance collaborative and inter-disciplinary monitoring of the marine climate and environment of the Atlantic Arctic. To strengthen our team, we now accept applications for a three-year position.

Arctic PASSION (Horizon2020; www.arcticpassion.eu), aims to co-create an integrated pan-Arctic Observing System of Systems (pan-AOSS). This involves integration of observations and variables within the European Arctic, as well as towards collaborating projects in other Arctic regions like the Distributed Biological Observatory (DBO) and the Sustained Coordinated Observations of Arctic Change (CoObs-RNA) in the Pacific Arctic region. The work also includes liaising with the INTERACT network of terrestrial stations to facilitate cross-domain data coherence. If you have the skills and interest to contribute to the harmonization, integration and presentation of Arctic marine observations you could be the right person for us.
