Open opportunity to submit abstracts for ESA’s forthcoming Living Planet Symposium 23–27 May 2022 in Bonn, Germany. Deadline for abstract submissions is 26 November 2021

This symposium focuses on how Earth observation contributes to science and society, and how disruptive technologies and actors are changing the traditional Earth observation landscape, which is also creating new opportunities for public and private sector interactions.

The main aim of LPS22 is to bring the international Earth observation community together to focus on:

• UNDERSTAND EARTH SYSTEMS
• ADVANCE FUTURE TECHNOLOGY FOR EARTH OBSERVATION MISSIONS
• NURTURE PUBLIC & PRIVATE SECTOR PARTNERSHIPS
• ENABLE THE EARTH OBSERVATION DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION
• EMPOWER THE GREEN TRANSITION

Before submitting you are invited to consult the scientific session descriptions of the preliminary program

Notification of abstract acceptance: second half of February 2022. Deadline for registration: 30 April 2022

A submission fee of 75 euros (25 euros for students) will apply for each abstract.

The symposium is organized with the support of the German Aerospace Center (DLR).
