Connecting to heal our Oceans in the WIO region
The Western Indian Ocean Early Career Scientists network (WIO-ECSN) and its country chapter of Tanzania (WIO-ECSN Tanzania) will be hosting an online webinar that aims to connect youth, ocean advocates, conservationists, academicians, researchers, activists, government officials, early-career ocean professionals, and all potential stakeholders, from Tanzania and from the WIO region to set common goals and focus in restoring the health of our ocean in the region. In this webinar, we will get to hear from ocean experts in different fields in the WIO region who will address the oceanic challenges from Tanzanian perspectives and finally set common goals that will deliver our ocean from these pressing challenges. This is an implementation to continue commemorating the world ocean day 2022 theme of connecting people to save the ocean.
