On Thursday 19 May 2022, EMB is hosting its 20th Third Thursday Science webinar on the topic ‘ Critical research needs for informing environmental management of deep-sea mining’. The webinar links to the EMB Working Group who will soon start writing a publication on the topic of ‘Deep Sea and Human Health’ and will feature a talk from Dr. Pedro Ribeiro, a researcher in marine ecology at the Department of Biological Sciences and the Centre for Integrated Deep-Sea Research of the University of Bergen, Norway.
The webinar will be 1 hour long and will take place from 13:00 – 14:00 CEST and will be hosted on Zoom for which you can register here. It will also be live-streamed on the EMB YouTube page, where the recording will be made available afterwards.
