On Thursday 16 June 2022, EMB is hosting its 21th Third Thursday Science webinar on the topic ‘New developments in research vessel capabilities and technology’. This webinar will build on the science presented in EMB’s Position Paper 25 on ‘European Research Vessels: Current Status and Foreseeable Evolution’, and will include a talk from Per Wilhelm Nieuwejaar, Project Director at the Institute of Marine Research IMR, who Chaired the working group who wrote this Position Paper and who is a member of the European Research Vessel Operators (ERVO) group.
The webinar will be 1 hour long and will take place from 13:00 – 14:00 CEST and will be hosted on Zoom for which you can register here. It will also be live-streamed on the EMB YouTube page, where the recording will be made available afterwards.
