Mercator Ocean International, the Maritime Cluster of the Canary Islands (CMC) and the Oceanic Platform of the Canary Islands (PLOCAN), are offering you to participate to the Copernicus Marine Service Online Training Workshop dedicated to the Iberia-Biscay-Ireland Region scheduled on September 29 2020 – 10:00 am UTC+2.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE

The Copernicus Marine Service training workshop for the IBI region will be held online and involve self-directed and interactive learning. It consists of 3 appointments (Rounds 1, 3-A & 3-B) with an interval of 2 weeks in between for practical homework (Round 2).

Round 1. Webinars’ session – COMPULSORY*
29 September 2020 10.00 am UTC+2 (3h max.)
General presentation of the Copernicus Marine Service & User Testimonies.
* It is compulsory to attend the webinars’ session to get credentials to access the Jupyter Hub with notebooks dedicated to this training workshop.

Round 2. Practical Homework
29 September to 12-13 October 2020
Open and free access to online hands-on sessions with tutorial material and the possibility to interact with trainers and attendees in a dedicated forum.

Round 3. Debriefing sessions 
12 & 13 October 2020 both at 10:00 am UTC+2
Online meetings to debrief about the practical homework with experts and trainers.
