As we enter the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration and Ocean Science for Sustainable Development, the importance of long-term perspectives for understanding past changes to oceans and maritime communities, and also past entanglements, becomes ever clearer. This interdisciplinary conference, hosted by the University of Washington in Seattle, will bring together global researchers to build our understanding of the changes that have occurred to past oceans and ocean life (human and non-human), on and below the water.
There is an open call for abstracts till 10 December. Funding opportunities are available for Early Career Researchers. The conference will take place between 22 and 25th of June (to be determined) and will possibly be accessible as a hybrid event.
