A 4-year PhD Research Fellowship in molecular biology/genomics is available at the Centre for Ecological and Evolutionary Synthesis (CEES), Department of Biosciences, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.
The project will have emphasis on single-cell transcriptomics of immune cells. This project uses cutting-edge technology within molecular biology, modern high-throughput sequencing and bioinformatics. The applicant must have a Master’s degree (or other corresponding education equivalent to a Norwegian Master’s degree) in molecular biology or genomics. Experience with immunology, RNA-seq, high-throughput sequencing or bioinformatics is considered an advantage. The candidate will work mostly with the molecular analysis of immune cells in codfish.

Application deadline: 26 June 2017
