The successful applicant for this role will identify the physical, ecological, and anthropic mechanisms responsible for the changes in the extent of seagrass beds along the St. Lawrence Gulf and Estuary. The candidate will be based in Rimouski (Quebec, Canada).
The candidate must have a PhD in biology, marine science, environmental science, geography, or another closely related field. The candidate’s past achievements and experience must demonstrate that they have a strong research record demonstrated by academic excellence and publications. They must also possess strong skills in organisation, communication, and scientific writing. Experience in the use of GIS is strongly encouraged. The ability to communicate in French is also an asset for this position.
