The holder of the post will participate in several on-going projects on marine invertebrates, marine plants and microorganisms. Interactions across a broad range of scientific disciplines with other research groups at GEOMAR, Kiel University and external collaborators will be expected. The successful candidate will be involved in new method development/validation, supervision of postgraduate/undergraduate students and preparations of third-party funding proposals. To be eligible, candidates must possess a PhD or equivalent in metabolomics of natural products, fluency in spoken and written English and excellent oral and written communication skills, and excellent project and laboratory management skills in multiple tasks.
