The goal of this position is the development and implementation of a data assimilation system for an existing climate (ocean-atmosphere-sea ice) model. A special focus lies on the flexibility of the data assimilation system which should be applicable for the atmospheric as well as the oceanic component of the climate model.
This is a full-time position which is available for 2 years. The fixed-term contract shall comply with Paragraph 2 Section 1 of The Act of Academic Fixed-Term Contract (German WissZeitVG).
