he Partnership for Observation of the Global Oceans and Scientific Committee on Oceanic Research (POGO) is currently promoting its Visiting Fellowship Programme for 2017. A joint programme between POGO and the Scientific Committee on Oceanic Research (SCOR), the programme is designed to support training and capacity building leading towards a global observation scheme for the oceans. A success for over 15 years, the programme has awarded over 160 fellowships since 2001. The main objectives of the programme are to promote training & facilitate capacity building, and advance global ocean observations & their applications.
