The Ecosystems & Environment Research Centre at Salford University is seeking a new Research Assistant to work as part of the F.I.S.HUB

Fish Identification Software Hub project, a work-package of the large EU FP7 consortium FOODINTEGRITY: https://secure.fera.defra.gov.uk/foodintegrity/

The main objective of the project is to develop a software tool to be used in the field, by both professionals and inexperienced people, to detect species substitution.

The successful applicant will join Professor Stefano Mariani’s

University of Salford research group, a vibrant and diverse research team tackling topical questions at the forefront of marine biodiversity research.
