Science Officer in the Technical Support Unit, IPCC WGI (France)

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is beginning its Sixth Assessment cycle. Working Group I (WGI) assesses the physical scientific aspects of the climate system and climate change. The WGI Technical Support Unit (TSU), which provides the scientific, technical and
organizational support of the activities and products of the WGI, is located at the University of Paris-Saclay, France. The successful candidate will assist in the science-related activities of the TSU, providing scientific support in the scoping, preparation, and review of the Special Report on
climate change, oceans and cryosphere, co-organized with WGII. The Science Officer will also be working in the support and implementation of the WGI contributions more broadly to Special Reports, the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report, IPCC Workshops, and Expert Meetings.
