School for Marine Science and Technology (SMAST)

A Technical Associate is sought to assist in research and laboratory management associated with SMAST’s Marine Isotope Biogeochemistry Group. Specific laboratory research tasks include collection and analysis of samples, organization and initial interpretation of results, and preparation of results for presentation by group members in talks, peer-reviewed scientific papers, and grant applications. Laboratory management tasks include maintenance of instrumentation, ordering of supplies and reagents, organization and archiving of data, as well as compliance with safety and grant accounting requirements.
