From 17 to 19 September 2025, VLIZÂ will host the 8th ‘Particles in Europe’ (PiE) conference, on measuring, monitoring and managing in situ particle size and sediment concentration in the aquatic environment. This event is organised by Sequoia Scientific, Inc., Flanders Hydraulics (Flanders Hydraulics – Waterbouwkundig Laboratorium), Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences and VLIZ – Flanders Marine Institute.
