Dear NANO member, for operational purposes, we are discontinuing the NANO (info_at_nf-pogo-alumni.org) mailing list. All announcements and communication from NANO will be disseminated using the POGO mailing list instead. In the past few days you should have received an email from POGO Secretariat (pogoadmin_at_pml.ac.uk) asking you to update your email permissions and preferences, in order to continue hearing from us. In case you haven’t received such email, you need to sign up here: https://mailchi.mp/e948a630243b/rlbz1erzsf to guarantee you will keep receiving our news and announcements. Don’t hesitate in contact us if you have any questions!!

NANO (or NF-POGO Alumni Network for Oceans) is a global network of past and present NF-POGO scholars held together by a common interest in, and commitment to, ocean science, and by the common will to communicate the results of their work to the general public, so that they can be applied for the benefit of society at large.

The vision for the Network is “Integrated Observations of a Changing Ocean”. The Nippon Foundation and the Partnership for Observation of the Global Ocean believe that the understanding of the ocean and coastal environment relies on an integrated observing system around the world maintained by qualified decision-makers, researchers and service providers.
