Chris Kerry, a PhD student at the University of Exeter, is researching illegal fishing within MPAs and is investigating the perspectives of the global MPA practitioner network on what they perceive as the most pertinent drivers of Illegal fishing activity within the MPAs that they work in. Chris has compiled a questionnaire which asks participants to provide some information on their work and the MPA(s) they are associated with and then perform a ranking exercise on drivers of illegal fishing within MPAs (the categories have been established through a rigorous literature review).
