I am pleased to announce the forthcoming Green Bubbles’ Mid-Term Open
Workshop, to be held in Santa Margherita Ligure (Italy) on Sept 26-27
2016. The workshop, marking the turning point of the EU-funded project
Green Bubbles RISE, aims at defining where we stand, and which new
perspectives are opening up towards sustainable SCUBA diving.
The workshop will bring together researchers, authorities,
manufacturers, operators, certifying agencies, territorial managers,
NGOs, instructors and dedicated press. The chosen format will include
key-notes from the project, invited key-notes, oral communications and
round tables on the following themes:
DAY ONE
? SCUBA diving systems: deeper understanding
? SCUBA diving economies: integrated or isolated?
DAY TWO
? SCUBA diving, Ocean Literacy & schools
? SCUBA diving, Citizen Science: merging business & conservation
? Sustainable SCUBA diving & labels
