EuroMarine Open Science Exploration (EMOSE). 11-15 Sep 2017, Porto (Portugal)

The concept of EMOSE was proposed as a means to explore open science resources and practices with a small group of early career scientists that conduct a well-defined study. The methodology of EMOSE is to use both an open source and commercial open science responses with the participants during the entire life-cycle of the inter-comparison study.
The ultimate objective is to review methods in marine plankton metagenomic analysis, essentially comparing the different filtration volumes and size-fractions used by recent initiatives.

Application deadline: 5 May 2017
