2017 IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society Summer School (GR4S)

The 2017 IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society Summer School (GR4S) is the sixth in a series of International Summer Schools on Data Fusion.  Previous locations include Munich, Milan, Beijing, and now Arlington, Texas.  Each year, the GR4S is held in conjunction with and the week prior to the IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS).  IGARSS 2017 will be held in Fort Worth, Texas, July 23-28.  The GR4S will be held July 29-21 at the nearby University of Texas at Arlington.  The GR4S is an high-quality, low-cost ($75 full registration with $35/night dormitory housing options) opportunity for students and young professionals to hear the lectures of and professionally network with world-renowned experts in the field of remote sensing.

Professional Networking

The 2017 GR4S will have a capstone event on Friday afternoon/evening focused on professional networking.  The Metro-Los Angeles chapter of GRSS is sponsoring activities designed to help participants hone their communications and networking skills, culminating with a networking dinner.
